WW1 War Department Mod. Class E Dropdoor Bogie Wagon Kit

This kit contains plastic body, one-peice plastic bogies with metal wheels. The bogies are designed to use Bemo OO9 couplings (not included) The ashover light railway purchased a quality of class D and E bogie open wagons for the carriage of mineral traffic. The class E wagons were found to have truss bars of a type that fouled the tipper at clay cross and prevented easy tipping of stone. these class e wagons had the centre wall removed and fitted with replacement class D truss bars.
