The TGV double-decker vehicle TGV Duplex, which SNCF is proud of, was developed to efficiently and comfortably carry the increasing number of passengers on the TGV Southeast Line (between Paris and Lyon) with an all-double-decker passenger vehicle. , Appeared in 1995 and started operation in 1996.
With the opening of the Mediterranean line between Lyon and Marseille in 2000, it has become the main artery of France in terms of both business and tourism, and it is playing an active role at a maximum speed of 300 km / h as the main vehicle of the line with an increasing number of passengers. Currently, it is active in a wide range of routes such as the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Eastern Europe routes.
KATO will commercialize a new paint colour called "Carmillon" in response to the paint changes made on the actual TGV Duplex vehicle. The chic paint with red accent lines on white + black + grey, which is very different from the conventional paint (silver + blue), features the gradation logo, guest doors, and stripes on the front of the head that can be seen at key points. It is a target.
