Kato Phone Controller

The new Smart Controller allows you to use your smartphone as controller for scale model trains. The product is connected to your diorama just like the conventional Power Pack and connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth. For operating, an app is necessary which is available for free download. Multiple Smart Controllers can be used at the same time since Bluetooth is used for wireless connection and data transmitting.

Features of this product:

• For train operation, you need a smart phone or tablet besides the smart controller.
• Changes of speed and direction are controlled via your smart phone or tablet.
• When connected with Soundbox (connecting cable included with the product), you can operate all the functions of Sound box by a smart phone or tablet.
• Multiple Smart Controllers can be used at the same time since Bluetooth is used for wireless connection.
• The output power from the product itself is DC: 0.0~12V (in case of AC adaptor for N scale) / DC: 0.0~16V (in case of AC adaptor for HO scale), 2.0A.
• With PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Control Method adopted for output power to the train more realistically.
• Installed with the noise canceller function, this product can be used for European trains.
• When you want to operate a European train together with this product and a Soundbox, a noise canceller is needed
• Equipped with power switch, this product can control turning on / off of all the respective accessories.
• The snap terminals and accessory terminals can supply power to the respective accessories.
• The application program can be downloaded free of charge from the respective application website. Whenever a new function is added, it will then be updated.
• Compatible with the app: OS: iPhone 5 or higher, Device installed: Blueooth 4.0 or higher.
