Prototype
Typical of the Glacier Express are the panoramic carriages, which are available in different versions. The Excellence Class car is brand new and can be recognized from the outside by the additional golden lines. Only 20 comfortable lounge chairs are built into the luxury car, so that every passenger has a window seat from which they can enjoy the magnificent landscape.
Meals are served on site and a bar awaits guests at the end of the car. This very special travel pleasure is of course not cheap, in addition to the 1st class fare, a hefty surcharge is required - but the price then includes all meals, drinks and many other amenities.
Other Panorama Coaches are available to create a your own Glacier Express. These coaches are an ideal addition to the Ge 4/4 Locomotives.
