Description
Prototype
The series Kiha 201 was introduced in 1997 as a diesel railcar that can be operated without hindrance of high-speed driving schedules. The structure of series Kiha 201 allows coordinated operation with the series 731 Ishikari Liner - a commuting electric type AC train.
Model
This model of the JR 201 features lots of exterior details which replicate the prototype. The front and rear coaches feature LED lights which change from red to white depending on direction of travel.
