Details

The Tyrell team that advanced to the F1 race in 1968 used Matra Ford as a team machine. The following year, Jackie Stewart won the title as early as the 11th in 1970. Introduced Tyrell 001 with DFV engine mounted on the car body designed by the team from the War Canada GP. In 1971, which was the first year of full participation in the original machine, 003 for J. Stewart, François second driver The 002 for Sever is completed. The nose and front wing are integrated flat, and while having a unique form with a radiator placed under it, an orthodox mechanism is adopted to ensure high reliability. This year, J. Stewart, who won 6 out of 11 races including the Monaco Grand Prix with a pole-to-finish, won his second championship and also brought the team title. He was called "Hammerhead" because of his unique form. The Monaco GP specification of Tyrell 003 will be revived on the 1/12 big scale.
