Have you ever thought you don't have space for a model railway?

Perhaps you feel you don't have all the skills required to build something?

The team at BRM are determined to get people modelling, so we tried to build a simple layout in 2 days at The International N Gauge Show in September.

To make life easier, we designed the model to fit in a readily available plastic box. This makes storage easy and give the builder somewhere to keep materials while working. Gaugemaster generously provided the Kato Unitrack, buildings, scenic cover and trees. It was really handy to be able to use the website as a one-stop-shop when planning this project.

By the end of the weekend, the layout ran and most of the scenery was complete. We even had a couple of buildings. 3 more days work saw the model finished and looking good. This assumes any model railway is ever really finished. We've already started thinking about little detail improvements and changes...
