MARK HOLLAND reports back from our Euro Rail event at the start of April.
After the general disappointment of events being cancelled during lockdown, we have started our programme of in-house events for 2022.
This began with Euro Rail on the weekend of the 9th and 10th of April. This weekend event was Continental railway specific, so that we could show off the brands that are synonymous with railway modelling “over there”.

There were a few different layouts on show, Noch scenic demos and Roco Z21 demo, along with special offers on the day. Hopefully every visitor found something of interest, if not something to buy!
N Scale layout which is a work-in-progress build by the West Sussex 'N' Gauge Model Railway Club on a Noch layout board and it runs by a Z21.
The Noch scenic range was ably demonstrated all weekend by Kevin in our sales team. He answered a few of the ‘How to’ questions when it come to things such as static grass and terrain building.

The Roco Z21 demonstration layout was manned by James. He had great success showing that wireless DCC isn’t the ‘dark art’ many worry that it is. This fantastic system allows you to control your layout from a phone or tablet.

All-in-all, it was a very successful start to the year’s events programme. If you missed us for this one please put the next one in your diary and see if we can either answer your questions or even tempt you to part with a few pennies!
