When I first saw these announced as Ruby decoders, I was expecting to see a Madras, Vindaloo and Balti decoder!
They are our new range of well-priced reliable decoders which replaces our existing range of decoders. On top of the standard 6-pin, 8-pin and 21-pin decoders we have added two 6 function decoders. These are for those of you who want to control additional features on your locos such as lighting other than head and tail.
For those who want to guarantee uninterrupted running, add the PowerPal - a capacitor which keeps the train running on dirty or dead track sections.

The DCC90 is a large 8 pin decoder which is fitted with a removable 25mm harness including 2 function wires.

The DCC92 is a small 8 pin decoder, ideal for smaller locomotives or those with tight space inside. It is also useful for retrofitting non-DCC Ready locomotives which also might have restrictive space.
