A new range of OO scale British outline Colour Light Ground signals are now available.
The range includes regular DC versions which can be controlled by conventional switches or decoders, or a DCC fitted version which can be controlled by DCC or connection to a TTST10 plug-in Track Sensor allows automatic operation.
Both DC and DCC versions are available in White and Red or White and Yellow colours, and all types can be configured in the traditional modern double white or double red/yellow style, or original single white + single white/yellow style.
Although the DC versions are described as kits (with the part code 'GK'), only the plastic head front and back cover has to be glued onto the light unit - which is already prewired to large terminals under the baseboard.
he DCC fitted 'GS' versions have a full digital accessory decoder and regulator on board, so the signal simply connects to the nearest rails or DCC bus using two wires and sets up in seconds using Train-Tech’s ‘one-touch’ DCC system - no programming! An optional Track Sensor can also be connected using a single wire to enable the ground signal to change automatically as a train approaches and passes so that no manual control is necessary.
Unlike some ground signals on the market, these are true 1:76 OO scale which have been scaled, designed and tooled in the UK along with a special mounting cap which makes it quick and easy to mount the signal on almost any baseboard through just a 10mm round hole.
Train-Tech Grounds signals are all available, with the GK DC versions retailing at £16 each and the GS DCC fitted versions at £35 each - on release.
