Magirus Flatbed Truck Fire Brigade

This is how the fire brigade Rundhauber experienced the 1980s While the Eckhauber in the 1960s had long since found their place in the fire stations of the Republic, the Magirus Rundhauber defied decades later his retirement. While the special vehicles from TLF 16 to aerial ladders rolled straight from Ulm into the tool sheds, multi-purpose vehicles with flatbeds and tarpaulins often received a new life in the care of their fire-fighters only after several years of service mostly at the municipal construction yard or even in the forwarding business. And because Rundhauber and Eckhauber were so reliable and powerful, they were kept ready for use well into the 1980s - the air-cooled Deutz engine modeled on the WIKING model is still considered indestructible today.
