Description

Rundhauber-LF 16 remained a fire-brigade darling until today Professional fire departments had him in the 1960s as a figurehead in their hearts closed - in Munich or Dortmund swore by the air-cooled Rundhauber from Ulm. In the 1950s, they were the great achievement in the rebuilding of efficient fire-fighting trains. Now WIKING introduces the legendary Rundhauber LF 16, which was previously missing in the contemporary fire department fleet of traditional model makers. Above all, the long group cabin makes the character-carrying fire engine so impressive - in addition come ladder parts and extension ladder on the roof and the hose reel mounted on the rear. A long-cherished wish of the fire-fighting friends is thus fulfilled. The 1: 87-novelty makes by the conspicuously long group cabin even more the unusual proportions of the LF 16 in the assignment of cabin and body clearly - after all, there was room for the 1 + 8 crew. The cabin also has a corresponding interior with rear benches that face each other. Also new is the angular, in comparison to the well-known TLF 16 rather box-shaped structure with roof rails and the prototypical engraving for the side and rear equipment rooms. In the roof structure, the standard load with four-part plug conductor and three-part extension ladder is integrated. Authentic equipment such as searchlights, but also hose reels are already available and will of course be delivered to WIKING in accordance with standards. Just as the fire brigades wanted from Magirus in Ulm.
