M24 Chaffee is an American military light tank that was formulated in June 1944 as the successor to the M3 / M5 Stuart. Equipped with a lightweight and compact 75mm cannon developed for bombers. The suspension was a torsion bar type, which is unusual for American tanks. Approximately 4,700 vehicles were completed from April 1944 to July 45 in the following year. Introduced on the Northwest European and Italian fronts at the end of the Great War, it gained the occupant's trust with its superior mobility, low silhouette, and a powerful main gun as a light tank. Furthermore, even after the end of the war, it was donated to more than 25 countries and appeared in the Korean War, Indochina War, Vietnam War, etc., and in some countries it was used even after the 1980s.
