VW T1 Samba Bus Absolute Flower Power 1963-67

First on the 1:40 and then on the 1:87 scale! It is impossible for a single VW T1 to sport more colour – the samba bus demonstrates contemporary style. The model was crafted after a stunning samba “Bulli”, which is designed with the same exclusive colour combination and met with great esteem wherever it goes. In the sixties, the samba bus delivered on its promises from the get-go: Its name evoked wanderlust and suggested an automotive upgrade. Apart from enhancing it with panorama windows on the roof, Volkswagen also treated its samba bus to a liberal amount of ornamental trim. These features turned the samba bus into a favourite for holidays, fun and leisure. It should also come as no surprise that its colourful nature led the Flower Power generation of the late sixties and early seventies to quickly flock to this samba bus and to enhance many units of this vehicle with their own personal and, above all, flamboyant touch.
