Germany's most popular Rundhauber aerial ladder No other aerial ladder of the Magirus Rundhauber was built as many times as the twin cabin versions for the six-person squadron. The DL 25h was an indispensable part of the withdrawal squadrons of the urban weirs that had prescribed Magirus in the 1950s and 1960s. The mighty alligator hood with the Ulmer Münster on the grill and the thundering Deutz Diesel is still unforgotten by fire brigades. There was no basket at that time, the aerial ladder was used almost exclusively for human rescue, rarely as a supportive lifting crane.
