1-308 (HO) EF 65-1059 JR Freight Test Paint Color
The painting change of the locomotive was considered at the time of JR freight establishment of 1987 (1987), and the test painting was given to two 1059/1065 units of Shin-Tsurumi-ku in EF65.
The 1065 was returned to the same express color as before in 1998 (1998), but the 1059 is still active in the test paint.
The color scheme is based on blue, with a yellow warning color on the front, white on the sides, and a large "JR" character.
