A masterpiece FR that debuted in the World Rally Championship in 1976 and won the championship car three times in 1977, 1978, and 1980 (front engine / The rear-wheel drive) machine is the Fiat 131 Abalt Rally. The base is 131 Mirafiori, a representative family car of Fiat at that time. Every detail has been thoroughly remodeled to fight the rally. The person in charge was Abarth, the same famous Italian tuner. The 1995cc in-line 4-cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine produces a maximum output of 215 horsepower, the suspension is modified to a MacPherson strut 4-wheel independent suspension, and both front and rear are equipped with powerful ventilated disc brakes. In addition, the body equipped with front and rear spoilers and over fenders has many parts replaced with FRP to reduce weight. The works cars of 1976 and 1977 were painted in dark blue and yellow, which are also the image colors of Fiat's genuine oil OLIO FIAT, and fought the season.
