With the announcement earlier this year that Kato are producing a 9-Car version of the LNER Azuma Class 800, they have now released images of the additional coaches and other amendments which allow them to produce this new variation.
Here we can see the different seating inserts for the new coaches. These coaches are 1st class and allow the customers more room per set. This makes it even easier to add passengers.
The roof detailing also differs on the new coaches, with a flatter roof than others in the rake.
Bogie details have also been recreated with inner frames.
Shown here in comparison to the original bogies, these extra cars showcase the difference that exists on the prototype 1st Class coaches.
The LNER Class 800/1 are available to preorder now along with the existing 5-Car Variations in Analogue, DCC Fitted, and DCC Sound Fitted Versions.
For GWR fans the new 5-Car Class 800s in the GWR Paddington Bear livery is also available to preorder in four variations.
