Dapol have provided us with updates on their class 59 locomotives in OO Scale and added to the range too.
Class 59 104 'Village of Great Elm' Hanson Added to the range.
A new Hanson liveried Class 59 has been added to the Dapol range of releases for this class with DC, DCC, DCC Sound and DCC Sound and Smoke.

As part of the update and to streamline the range, Dapol have taken the decision to not produce standard digital locomotives with smoke function. Instead, this feature will only be available with their DCC Sound-fitted models. This has resulted in the following models being discontinued.

Don't worry; however, you can still obtain the standard DCC Fitted and DCC Sound Fitted with Smoke versions, which are still available to order. Alongside this change, the decoder spec has been increased, with the locomotive now being fitted with a Plux22 decoder rather than the previously announced 21-pin.
The new announcement above, along with the existing items in the range seen below and our own Gaugemaster Collection variation, are all scheduled for release in Q4 this year.
