1:1200 Scale model of a German Bismarck Battleship.

The Bismarck, the flagship of the Reich's warship fleet, was the largest German warship alongside the Tirpitz. Her displacement reached 50,900 tons, her crew numbered 2,092 men. It entered service on August 24, 1940 and was involved in Operation Rheinübung on May 18, 1941. Accompanied by Prinz Eugen, he was soon spotted by British aerial reconnaissance aircraft. On May 25, 1941, a battle with the Hood ended in the Hood's loss.
