Thomas and Friends Henry the Green Engine
Henry the Green Engine is a fictional steam locomotive from The Railway Series by Reverend W. Awdry and the television series Thomas & Friends. He is a green mixed-traffic tender engine, numbered 3 on the North Western Railway. In the 1946 book Thomas the Tank Engine, Henry is depicted as vain and refuses to leave a tunnel to avoid getting his paint wet. After being bricked up in the tunnel, he is later freed and proves his worth. Henry is known for his strength and reliability, becoming a key character in the series.
