Background

Within the After Colony (A.C.) timeline of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, the Gundam Deathscythe is one of five Gundams developed under the Operation Meteor programme.

It is piloted by Duo Maxwell, who is affiliated with the Sweeper Group and operates with a highly adaptive and resourceful combat style. Unlike heavily armoured or long-range units, Deathscythe is designed for stealth infiltration, ambush tactics, and rapid elimination of enemy targets.

Its most defining feature is its active cloaking system, which allows the mobile suit to become nearly invisible to enemy sensors for short periods. This capability, combined with high mobility and its beam scythe weapon, makes it extremely effective in close combat scenarios.
