Introduced in 1962, the MGB Roadster became one of Britain’s most successful and enduring sports cars, perfectly capturing the spirit of affordable open-top motoring. Designed by the British Motor Corporation, it replaced the MGA and featured modern unitary construction, providing improved strength, comfort and handling. Power initially came from a 1798cc B-Series four-cylinder engine, delivering lively performance and strong mid-range torque, later refined through production updates.
