The Roco 6600243 is a highly detailed H0 scale freight wagon set featuring two four-axle parcel mail wagons of type Z-5, operated by Wascosa and based on Swiss Post (PTT) prototypes. Representing modern Era VI operation, this newly tooled model accurately reflects contemporary postal rail logistics while maintaining strong historical roots in Swiss railway operations.

This set includes two wagons from different production series, offering prototypical variation within a single purchase. One wagon represents the first series built in 1988 with German postal branding, while the second represents the 1991 series featuring Italian advertising lettering. Both wagons were originally constructed by Josef Meyer Rheinfelden (JMR) with SIG-supplied bogies similar to those used on EW IV passenger stock.

The models feature a high level of detail, including free-standing grab rails, finely reproduced pipework, and perforated walkway grids, delivering an authentic industrial appearance. Designed for smooth and reliable operation, the set is equipped with NEM 362 coupling pockets and close coupling kinematics, ensuring compatibility with modern H0 rolling stock.
