Details

The Roco 6600251 is a highly detailed H0 scale freight wagon set featuring two roll-top covered wagons (type Ts) operated by the Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF). Representing Era IV–V operation, this set reflects typical French domestic and cross-border freight traffic from the 1970s through to the 1990s, where weather-sensitive goods were transported in sliding-roof wagons.

The models feature finely detailed wagon bodies with authentic SNCF proportions and accurately reproduced roll-top roof mechanisms. The sliding roof design allows for realistic loading scenarios, making the wagons ideal for mixed freight consists or dedicated covered goods trains. The clean SNCF lettering and paint scheme are based on prototypical examples from transitional Era IV/V service.
