This train set is ideal for running around your tree (just let the cat or dog know) and unlike many others on the market, is built to last so will form part of your Christmas celebrations for years to come. It's mains powered so will not chew through batteries and is easily extendible with other readily available PIKO components such as Wagons, Coaches and More Track.

To give you an idea of it's size, It's 87 times smaller than it's real life equivalent so you'll be able to find room for it somewhere in your home.

Manufactured by the famous German model railway brand PIKO in their own Chinese factory, this set comprises of a steam locomotive, lovingly decorated in green and red with Christmas embellishments such as Christmas bows, presents, sweets and holly. There is an accurate representation of coal in the tender.

The first item that partners this locomotive is an attractive Christmas coach in white and red with beautiful Christmas pictures on both sides - perhaps transporting passengers to the North Pole or Santa's elves to work?

The next item is a green box wagon with a red door, again with Christmas images on the side. You can imagine this being full of Christmas gifts ready to present to your favourite people.

Finally, there is a red Open Wagon which is perfect for filling with Christmas sweets and chocolates (not supplied).

This train is supplied with an oval of prototypically accurate ballasted track to run on and a power supply with a speed/direction controller to make the train go around.

This Christmas Train set as supplied has a footprint of approximately 110 x 88cm but the minimum Installation area is 120 x 98cm.

This train set is supplied boxed so it is easy to pack up and store ready for next year.
