Introduced by Corgi Toys in 1959, the 416 RAC Radio Rescue Land Rover was a revised version of the earlier Land Rover model, updated with a roof-mounted Radio Rescue sign, aerial and RAC-branded canvas tilt. Produced until 1962, more than 200,000 examples were made, making it one of the company's most recognisable utility vehicles. In 1962, the model evolved into the 416S, featuring the newer Series II Land Rover body and additional detailing, but the original Series I version remains a favourite among collectors for its simplicity and nostalgic appeal.
