The Ford Cortina Mk5, officially launched in 1980 (often called the Cortina 80), was the last evolution of Ford’s hugely successful Cortina line before it was replaced by the Sierra in 1982. It built on the Mk4’s platform but introduced sharper styling, improved aerodynamics, and refinement upgrades.
