This Fleischmann N-scale Z21 START newGen Digital Set features a digitally controlled Class 245 diesel locomotive with a two-car double-deck passenger train from Deutsche Bahn (DB AG), modelled in Era VI and designed for digital DCC operation. The set includes the newGen Z21 START controller, a Z21 multiMAUS handset, and a plug-in power supply.

The track package comprises gravel bed sections that form an oval layout with radius R1 (4 × 9100 curved, 8 × 9120 straight) plus all required electrical connection components. The overall layout size is about 85 × 40 cm, ideal for compact table layouts.

The Class 245 diesel locomotive is equipped with a Next18 digital decoder, four driven axles with traction tires, a flywheel for smooth running, and direction-dependent lighting with triple headlights and taillights. The locomotive’s length over buffers is approximately 452 mm and the minimum navigable radius is 192 mm.

This set is also compatible with the wireless Z21 WLANMAUS (sold separately), making it easy to expand and control your layout.
