Sierra Rally Montecarlo 1992

While designed as a family saloon car the Sierra Sapphire took on a whole new purpose in its Cosworth guise. Fitted with for wheel drive and high powered Turbo engine the car lent itself to be used in International rallying. Here we see it as the car Francois Delecour raced in the 1992 Monte Carlo Rally. This wonderfully detailed slot car model, features an inline motor rated at 18k rpm.
