French Lockheed F-104S Starfighter (1:72 Scale)

?The Lockheed F-104S Starfighter was an advanced version of the F-104, developed for the Italian Air Force. Introduced in the 1980s, it featured significant upgrades, including the FIAR/NASARR R21G radar with look-down/shoot-down capability and provisions for AIM-7 Sparrow and AIM-9L Sidewinder missiles. The F-104S was equipped with a more powerful J79-GE-19 engine and had a maximum takeoff weight of 7,500 lb, allowing it to carry up to seven 750 lb bombs. In the mid-1980s, the F-104S underwent the Aggiornamento Sistemi d'Arma (ASA) upgrade, enhancing its avionics and weapon systems. The final upgrade, ASA/M, was completed by 1997, and the aircraft remained in service until its retirement in 2004.
