This advanced multi-role aircraft is one of the most capable maritime helicopters in service today, developed by AgustaWestland in collaboration with Westland Helicopters to replace the ageing Sea King fleet. Entering service in the early 2000s, the Merlin HM.1 was primarily designed for anti-submarine warfare, playing a critical role in protecting naval task groups beneath the waves.

Powered by three turbine engines, the AW101 delivers exceptional performance, with high speed, long range, and the ability to operate in extreme weather conditions.
