The Dodge WC-56 Command Car was a light military vehicle used by the U.S. Army during World War II. Part of the Dodge WC series of 4x4 vehicles, it was produced between 1942 and 1944. Designed primarily as a command and reconnaissance vehicle, it featured seating for four, an open body with canvas top, and a radio mounting system. Powered by a 6-cylinder engine, the WC-56 offered good mobility over rough terrain. Approximately 21,000 units were built.
