British Panavia Tornado GR.1/IDS (1:32 Scale)

The Panavia Tornado GR1/IDS was a British variant of the Panavia Tornado, a family of multi-role combat aircraft developed by a tri-national consortium comprising Italy, West Germany, and the United Kingdom. Introduced in 1979, the GR1 (Ground Attack/Reconnaissance) variant was designed for low-level strike missions, reconnaissance, and interdiction roles. The aircraft featured variable-sweep wings, allowing for optimal performance at various speeds and altitudes. Its avionics included a terrain-following radar and a laser rangefinder, enhancing its precision in targeting. The GR1 was later upgraded to the GR4 standard, incorporating advanced avionics and weapons systems. The Tornado GR1/IDS played a significant role in several conflicts, including the Gulf War and operations in the Balkans.
