Description
German Pz.Kpfw.VI Tiger I (1:56 Scale)
The German Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I was a heavy tank deployed during World War II, introduced in 1942. It featured thick armor and was armed with an 88mm KwK 36 L/56 gun, capable of destroying most Allied tanks at long range. The Tiger I’s robust design emphasized firepower and protection but sacrificed mobility and mechanical reliability. Powered by a Maybach HL230 engine, it had a top speed of around 38 km/h. Although expensive and complex to produce, approximately 1,347 units were built. The Tiger I gained a fearsome reputation on both Eastern and Western Fronts, influencing tank design for years.
