German Sd.Kfz.142/1 Sturmgeschutz III (1:56 Scale)

The German Sd.Kfz. 142/1 Sturmgeschütz III (StuG III) was an assault gun used extensively in World War II. Built on the Panzer III chassis, it was initially designed for infantry support with a short-barreled 75mm StuK 37 L/24 gun. Later versions featured a longer 75mm StuK 40 L/43 or L/48 gun for effective anti-tank roles. The StuG III was lower in profile than tanks, making it harder to hit. It was one of Germany’s most produced armored fighting vehicles, with over 10,000 units built. Its versatility and cost-effectiveness made it a vital weapon on all fronts.
