Description
Italian Tanks & Semoventi (1:56 Scale)
The Italian M13/40 was a World War II medium tank developed in 1940, serving as Italy’s primary armored fighting vehicle early in the war. It featured a 47mm main gun and armor thickness up to 42mm, which was adequate against early Allied tanks but quickly became outdated. Powered by a diesel engine, the M13/40 had moderate mobility but suffered from mechanical reliability issues. It saw extensive action in North Africa, where it faced British and Commonwealth forces. Despite its limitations, the M13/40 was significant in Italy’s armored forces until replaced by more advanced models.
