Italian Reggiane Re.2000 (1:48 Scale)

?The Reggiane Re.2000 Falco I was an Italian all-metal, low-wing monoplane developed by Reggiane and first flown on 24 May 1939. Designed by Roberto Longhi and Antonio Alessio, it was intended as a lightweight, highly maneuverable interceptor. The aircraft featured a retractable undercarriage and bore similarities to the American Seversky P-35. Despite its advanced design, the Regia Aeronautica rejected the Re.2000, leading to its export to the Swedish and Hungarian Air Forces. The Swedish Air Force operated 60 units, while Hungary received 70. The Re.2000 was also adapted for carrier operations and long-range reconnaissance. A total of 186 units were built, with production ending in 1943.?
