Background

The Italeri Russian Grenadiers (6006) represents the elite Pavlovsky Grenadiers Regiment of the Imperial Russian Army during the Napoleonic Wars (1803–1815). These soldiers formed part of Tsar Alexander I’s most trusted infantry formations, renowned for their height, discipline, and resilience under fire.

The Pavlovsky Grenadiers are instantly recognisable by their distinctive mitre-style caps featuring a prominent brass front plate, a hallmark of Russian elite infantry units of the era.
