Recreate a powerful Second World War Allied tank destroyer with a detailed plastic model kit of the M36B1. Developed to counter heavily armoured German vehicles such as the Panther and Tiger, the M36 series provided Allied forces with a highly effective response through improved firepower and battlefield flexibility.

The M36B1 combined the M36 tank destroyer turret, armed with the powerful 90 mm M3 gun, with the reliable M4A3 Sherman hull. This solution was adopted due to limited availability of dedicated hulls and resulted in a highly effective hybrid combat vehicle. Compared to the earlier M10, which used a 76 mm gun, the M36 delivered significantly greater anti-armour capability.

Like other American tank destroyers of the period, the M36B1 featured an open-topped turret design, improving visibility and situational awareness during combat operations. This allowed crews to better identify and engage targets in fast-moving battlefield conditions.

The M36B1 proved to be a long-lasting and effective design, remaining in service well beyond World War II. It was later used by several armies in conflicts including the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s and the Balkan Wars in the 1990s, with some vehicles continuing service or being captured during the Iraq War in 2003.
