JR 489 Series Hakusan EMU 4 Car Add on Set

Details

The 489 series Hakusan color is based on the Oyster White, and is rosy and light, taking advantage of the renewal of the limited express "Hakusan" that connects Hokuriku and the Tokyo metropolitan area by JR West in 1988. It was born by changing the paint to ultramarine blue and light cobalt blue.

Car No. 6 Moha 489 has a half-room converted into a lounge and convenience car, and the window layout has been slightly changed.

Even after the abolition of "Hakusan" due to the opening of the Nagano Shinkansen in October 1997, he continued to play an active role in the limited express trains and express "Noto" on the Hokuriku Main Line, and was painted in the color of the Japanese National Railways limited express in 2002. It was familiar for 14 years before being returned.
