Details

The KATO Synthetic Sleeper Electric Point No. 6 series brings modern mainline realism and smooth operation to N gauge UNITRACK layouts. Designed to reproduce the appearance of contemporary Japanese railway infrastructure, these turnouts feature highly detailed synthetic sleepers and a concealed point machine for a clean, prototypical look.

Synthetic sleepers are made from rigid polyurethane foam reinforced with glass fiber, offering excellent durability, low weight, and a service life exceeding 30 years. Widely used on real railways in demanding locations such as turnouts and bridges, they provide the authentic appearance of modern high-performance trackwork.

The No. 6 electric point uses a large-radius R718 diverging curve, allowing stable running and smooth passage at higher speeds. The compact DC point motor is built directly into the roadbed, preserving the realistic profile of the track while enabling flexible and reliable layout construction. Fully compatible with the UNITRACK system, it is suitable for both beginners and advanced modellers and can also expand layouts built using the M1-PC Track Set.
