Prototype

The Series E5 Shinkansen is a high-speed electric multiple unit used on the Tohoku Shinkansen and Hokkaido Shinkansen services. These units have a top speed of 320km/h and are often seen in the full 10 car formation.

Model

This model of the E5 features lots of external livery details which replicate the prototype. This set includes a 4 car add on coach pack for the 3 Car Powered Set and can be combined with the Coach Pack to create the full 10 car train
