Details
Class 2019 dual-power locomotive (Stadler Euro9000) of European Loc Pool AG (ELP), leased to Leonhard Weiss GmbH & Co. KG, Göppingen. Finished in a grey and yellow livery and carrying road number 2019 310-2. The locomotive is represented as it has appeared since March 2026.
The model is equipped with a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It features a controlled, high-performance motor with a centrally mounted flywheel. Two axles in each bogie are powered via cardan shafts and traction tyres are fitted for improved haulage.
Triple headlights and dual red marker lights change automatically with the direction of travel and operate in conventional mode, while also being digitally controllable. Long-distance headlights can be switched digitally, and the headlights at locomotive ends 1 and 2 can be turned off separately in digital operation. A double “A” light function is also provided.
Cab lighting that changes with the direction of travel, together with various switching and special lights, can be controlled digitally. Coupling area lighting is also direction-dependent and digitally controllable. Maintenance-free warm-white and red LEDs are used throughout the lighting system. A buffer capacitor is fitted to improve running reliability.
The model features numerous separately fitted details including grab irons, sand boxes, UIC sockets and roof conduits. The detailed roof equipment includes four newly designed pantographs with different contact strips suitable for operation in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy. All four pantographs can be raised and lowered independently in digital operation, while the roof fan wheels are powered and digitally controllable.
Buffer height conforms to NEM standards. Brake hoses, screw couplers and closed rail clearance devices are included separately for optional installation.
