The Märklin 44294 Refrigerator Wagon is a special edition Era VI private goods wagon released in support of the initiative “Eisenbahn-Romantik muss bleiben!” (Railway Romance Must Stay!). This detailed H0 scale model is based on a modern insulated refrigerator car and features a unique commemorative design linked to a charitable campaign supporting the Crailsheim maintenance facility (Bw Crailsheim).

The wagon is finished in a distinctive promotional livery and includes fine printed detailing representing the campaign graphics. Each model contributes a donation of €5 per wagon sold to help restore the locomotive shed that was damaged by fire on 4 October 2025, making this both a collector’s item and a meaningful support model for German railway heritage.
