The Märklin 45908 Catalogue Wagon 1937/38 is a finely detailed H0 scale commemorative freight car based on the iconic artwork of the 1937 Märklin catalogue cover. This special edition model represents a private insulated refrigerator wagon (Ibopqs type) featuring the historic winter scene that famously adorned Märklin’s mid-1930s catalogue.

The wagon body is decorated with a high-quality print of the original catalogue illustration, showing a dramatic railway scene with electrified mainline traffic, snow-covered landscapes, and the legendary DRG E04 locomotive hauling a passenger train. The model faithfully recreates the look of the period wagon while highlighting Märklin’s historical branding heritage.
