The Märklin 46146 Slag Wagon Set is a highly detailed Era III–IV industrial freight consist representing two privately owned steelworks slag transport wagons used in heavy industry operations from the mid-1950s onwards. This H0 scale set depicts specialised tipping wagons designed for transporting molten slag away from blast furnace operations.

Each wagon features a robust metal frame construction with a removable and side-tipping slag ladle, allowing realistic simulation of unloading procedures. The wagons are finished in a copper-brown industrial livery with authentic weathering effects, reflecting heavy-duty steel mill service conditions.
