Details

The Märklin 46939 Kbs 443 Stake Wagon Set is a finely detailed Era VI Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) freight consist featuring two modern 2-axle Kbs-type stake wagons used for versatile container and bulk cargo transport from around 2011 onwards. This H0 scale set represents contemporary European intermodal freight traffic with a focus on containerised steel and logistics transport.

Each wagon is based on the European standard Kbs 443 design, featuring a robust steel underframe with truss rod reinforcement and removable stake pockets. The wagons are fitted with plug-in stakes for both side and end loading configurations, allowing flexible transport options depending on cargo type.

The set includes two 40-foot “BELL” freight containers, each of which is removable and stackable, reflecting real-world intermodal logistics operations. The wagons are finished in a reddish-brown DB AG freight livery and include fine underframe detailing for a realistic modern appearance.
