Details

The Märklin 47162 Niederbordwagen Set is a modern Era VI Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) freight consist featuring three four-axle Res-x low-sided flat wagons designed for heavy-duty transport of steel and track materials from around 2018 onwards. This H0 scale set represents contemporary European standard freight operations used in infrastructure and industrial logistics.

Each wagon is modelled with a prototypical low-sided steel construction and distinctive fish-belly side sills, accurately reflecting the European 19.90 m standard design used in modern freight fleets. The wagons are equipped with Y25 bogies and feature a high level of separately applied detailing, including brake components and fine underframe structures.

The set includes realistic rail load inserts, representing track material transport commonly used in railway construction and maintenance operations. Each wagon carries a different road number for prototypical variety and is individually packaged within a protective outer box.
