The Märklin 47230 is a finely detailed H0 scale freight wagon set featuring two four-axle sliding tarp wagons (Shimmns type) operated as privately owned vehicles by Ermewa SA and registered in the Netherlands. The wagons are modelled in their operational condition around 2010, representing modern European intermodal freight traffic with realistic weather-resistant tarpaulin covers.

Each wagon is individually detailed with prototypical construction features, including type Y25 bogies with double brake shoes and clearly defined underframe detailing.
